Our client is a state government department on a strategic journey to get its Information Management (IM) house in order.
They have undertaken a significant organisation-wide project that is multi-faceted in scope, covering the areas of data warehouse implementation, PRIS, PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), AI and analytics, audit findings, information management, and operational considerations.
With the enormity of this umbrella initiative, part of the challenge for our client’s team was to undertake a substantial information governance review. This assessment work was needed to help the Department enhance its information and data maturity by ensuring better regulatory compliance, data quality, and consistency for data-driven decision-making.

Our team facilitated a series of in-depth workshops with key stakeholders to assess the current state, define future aspirations, and conduct a gap analysis against goals, industry best practices, and State Government frameworks and policies.
Having drawn deep insights and holistic understanding from these workshops, we were in a strong position to deliver a robust information governance framework and a 36-month roadmap. This roadmap was substantial, focusing month-by-month on right-sized chunks of work laid out across the streams of People, Process, Technology, Communication, and Training.
